What information we collect?

  • Your email address, but only when you fill out the contact form, subscribe to our newsletter or join our database

  • Your first and last name, provided when you complete the contact form and database.

  • Any additional, optional details you choose to share through the contact form or database form. 

How do we use your personal data?

Cell Ag UK uses your information for the following purposes:

  • To send you newsletters, but only if you have subscribed, and you are able to unsubscribe at any time.

  • To respond to your inquiries, but only if you have filled out the contact form.

  • To add you to our database and to contact you about future events or programmes you have said you are interested in when filling in the database form.

How is your data stored?

Cell Ag UK stores your information securely in a restricted-access online database.

How is your information collected?

Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information is through consent - we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. 

The personal information Cell Ag UK collects is directly provided by you when:

  • You submit the contact form.

  • You submit the database form.

  • You subscribe to our newsletter.

How long do we keep your information?

We will retain your information as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this notice or until you ask us to remove it. 

If you have opted in to our newsletter mailing list or to any programme or event that we run (for example, the Mentorship Programme or our Journal Club) we keep your details to send you email communications only until you choose to unsubscribe. 

If you have filled in a contact form to show your interest in a programme or an event we will store your information until you ask us to remove it. Once a year we will send you an email reminding you that you are on our database, and we will ask you if you’d like to update or remove your information at that time.

If you have any concerns about our use of your personal data, you can make a complaint to us using the contact details at the top of this privacy notice.

If you remain unhappy with how we’ve used your data after raising a complaint with us, you can also complain to the ICO.
